HeliStudent is an Australian-based aviation exam preparation platform. We provide online study materials and practice exams specifically designed for helicopter pilots preparing for Australian theory examinations.

2. Eligibility and Accounts​

To use HeliStudent, you must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian. When you create an account, you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. HeliStudent cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

3. Payments and Pricing

All prices on HeliStudent are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Payments are processed securely through our chosen payment gateway. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorised to use the designated payment method.

4. Subscriptions and Renewals

We offer subscription plans (e.g., 2-month or 12-month access). Subscriptions are set to auto-renew to ensure uninterrupted access. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your account settings. If a renewal payment fails, your access to the service may be suspended until payment is received.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures, you are entitled to a refund or replacement. Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds for change of mind are generally not provided once the content has been accessed. Please contact us if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service.

6. Exam Content Disclaimer

HeliStudent practice exams are study aids designed to assist in exam preparation. They are NOT official Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) materials. While we strive for accuracy and alignment with CASR Part 61 standards, we do not guarantee that the questions on HeliStudent will appear in official CASA exams. Passing our practice exams does not guarantee success in official CASA theory exams.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on HeliStudent, including practice questions, explanations, graphics, and software, is the property of HeliStudent and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for your own individual study. You may not copy, share, distribute, or resell any part of our service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. Specifically, you agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the operation of the website. Accounts are for single-user use only; account sharing is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination without refund.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep HeliStudent available 24/7. However, we may occasionally need to suspend access for maintenance or updates. We are not liable for any service interruptions caused by factors outside our control, including internet outages or third-party service failures.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeliStudent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the current subscription period.
